Phoenix, Ariz.--To see one Treyvion Curry workout is to see them all.
Known for his downhill game and fluid mid-range touch, the Class of 2025 guard at PHH Prep takes every drill and every minute as a true test of who he is.
The competitive drive that fuels Curry's game is evident throughout the multi-court, sparkling PHH Prep facility, as the 6-foot-3 Curry savors every moment as a chance to get better.
And while Curry infuses PHH Prep head coach Derek Biale's lineup with electrifying displays of athleticism, it is the Arizona native's insatiable thirst for winning and high-level competition that sets him apart.
"When you put him in the lights, (Curry) just mentally gets into a zone," said Biale.
"His day-to-day approach, through practices and work ethic, I mean you just can't keep him out of the gym. He's made huge strides in becoming a leader. He's taken his shooting ability and has been able to push that out. He's been able to force gravity and push that on the other team. To be able to close out, which allows him to get to all three levels."
The lights which Biale speaks of turned on against Top-25 nationally ranked Red Rock Academy last season. And Curry went off.
He scored 27 points and buried a barrage of step-back jumpers, drilled mid-range pull-ups, finished at and above the rim, and put the team on his back during crucial stretches of the game.
"You have to push yourself every day in this environment," said Curry, who has drawn offers from San Jose State, University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, and has significant interest brewing from the likes of Central Michigan, Long Beach, and UC Fullerton.
"If you don't push yourself every day, you're just going to feel that you are not getting better. I'm considered an underdog. I just want to prove myself, prove that I'm as good as the opponents are considered. (This year) I am going to have to take on a leadership role. I just want us to play together and win."
PHH Prep went 35-12 overall last season.
The multi-team program's collective commitment to attain national-level success is of the highest order.
They've been actively recruiting some top-tier unsigned products across the country while sustaining an around-the-clock focus predicated on sweat equity.
