Harrington Twins Signed To New NIL Deals
While enjoying success as two of the most transcendent talents in the Southern California region and throughout the country, Class of 2026 Cathedral Catholic High School recruits Alex and Hunter Harrington have officially penned an exclusive NIL deal with Soldier Sports.
Soldier Sports is now tracking as one of the nation’s rapidly rising sports apparel manufacturers.
Beyond unique attire and lighter, sports-centric outfits tailor-cut for athletes, Soldier Sports continues to move the needle with its growing array of specialized baseball bats.
The company now features the official metal bat of Perfect Game USA.
Alex Harrington, a nationally prominent 6-foot-2, 185-pound shortstop who has been verbally committed to Stanford since his freshman season, along with his twin brother Hunter, is among the youthful faces of the burgeoning organization.
Harrington has garnered national acclaim for his situational hitting prowess.
This past season, he thrived as a vaunted deep-ball threat, possessing college-ready pop, which only rarefied hitters are capable of at this stage.
The right-handed batter, whose emergence at Cathedral Catholic has paralleled the program’s unprecedented national ascent, has proven to be one of the most marketable student-athletes in the country.
Hunter Harrington, who also verbally pledged to Stanford, is a versatile outfielder known for his quickness, explosiveness, and elite leaping ability—attributes that have enabled him to make a handful of dazzling catches over the years.
Harrington is a multi-sport athlete who is coming off a breakout 2024 campaign with Cathedral’s football team, as the wide receiver helped foster the evolution of a high-powered, prolific offense that previously relied heavily on the ground game.
Harrington, who was named Cathedral’s Offensive Player of the Year during the annual program banquet, established a new program record with 13 touchdowns in a season this past year. Harrington culminated the season with 900 yards on 40 receptions through 12 games. He was named First Team CIF San Diego, First Team All-Western League, as well as First Team All-KUSI.
Possessing 4.4 40-yard dash speed and elite-level ball-tracking skills, Harrington was deadly for his red zone production rate.
Both of the Harrington twins are under the tutelage of MLB super-agent Scott Boras and continue to embody the marketability of highly lauded, heavily recruited student-athletes during the NIL era.
Hunter Harrington has unique appeal to the company’s innovative approach to the baseball market, as he was recently featured in an ad for Perfect Game.
He’s become the cover boy for Soldier Sports’ spanking new Tank Bats, which are ultra-light swing bats that cater to elite ball mashers with their massive barrel and sweet spot.
During a recently released ad for Soldier Sports, Hunter Harrington launches a towering shot over the left-field fence. He proceeds to wax poetic about the style and makeup of the bat, showcasing the intrigue it holds for a slugger of his ilk. Alex Harrington has ramped up his exit velocity this offseason, as he’s now clubbing balls at 100 MPH exit velocity.
For the Harrington twins, it is the second NIL deal in as many weeks. They previously inked an NIL deal with Big League Chew, the shredded bubble gum that young ballplayers are known to gravitate to. Big League Chew was founded by left-handed pitcher Rob Nelson before it partnered with Wrigley Company, which owns the Chicago Cubs.
“Alex and Hunter Harrington are perfect extensions of what we want our team and program to represent,” said SmarTense Baseball’s Founder and 17U The Show National Team Manager Jarrett Northcutt.
“In all my years coaching baseball, the twins are instinctively and intangibly the most impactful players to a team’s pursuit of winning that I have seen. Along with their energetic style of play, their leadership, situational IQ, five-tool projectability, self-motivational qualities, communication skills, and competitive prowess will maximize our team’s culture and goals this summer.”
The Harrington twins are slated to play in this weekend’s Area Code Select Games, which features an array of the country’s top-shelf talent.
